We stayed at this guest house last summer and had a wonderful time. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and well presented.
Had a good night's sleep in very comfortable beds and so tranquil - never heard a sound from other guests.
Breakfast was large, very hot and delicious.
We will be returning soon - looking forward to summer!

Passed by this shelter tonight and it was full of loafers hanging around drinking strong cider. Looked a bit more tidy then in the pictures but expect it will be just as bad again by the morning.

How sad to see pictures like this. It really makes my blood boil! no one has any respect for anything. If these kids have nothing better to do with their time they should be locked up.

Why do they not enforce laws in this country anymore? We have a law that says anyone caught littering will get a spot fine of £75 If they no longer intend to enforce that law then we may as well do away with it.
Torbay could make thousands everyday out of these spot fines, It would easily pay the wages some one paid to hand out the fines.

This problem originates from lack of respect in kids
Parents have no idea what their children are up to, do not bring them up to respect the environment and do not care what damage the cause.
Schools show no responsibility in teaching children not to litter. They say it is not their responsibility but the parents (It should be everyone's responsibility).

Every school has a trail of litter from it's door to the local corner store or McDonal'ds. the cans, bottles, take away wrappers, sweet wrappers are in the gutters, hedges, ditches, undergrowth and the gardens of any unfortunate people who live on their route.

We are just breading pond life.

My wife and I went for a walk this afternoon on a lovely sunny spring day.
It should have felt very uplifting.
Alas, No!
We walked from the Grand Hotel, along Abbey Sands on the lower prom walkway close to the beach. Having walked down the steps we had to step over the first pile of dog mess. As we progressed we had to navigate around at least another 8 piles plus 2 discarded (used) nappies. Admittedly there are no bins down there but would anyone use them if there were? there was also loads of seaweed and other general litter.
We continued around the prom and past the Princess Theatre. There were lots of people around, it was just like a Summers day.
When we got to the shelter by the Pavilion I could not believe what I saw - Bottles, cans, take away wrappers and general debris. But not just the usual amount, No - for a moment I though I had accidentally been transported to the local refuse tip.
Everyone was giving the area a wide berth as though something bad had happened there.
What a disgraceful spectacle - went home feeling depressed
